Good News!

I am pleased to announce that my short short story Red Bird (or, Eleanor at the End) was selected as a winner in the 25th Annual Writer’s Digest Short Short Story Competition, announced in February 2025. You can download the story here.

My story Trespass Point was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2024 Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction Contest. Read the story here, along with the judge’s comments and my bio.

Last year, Trespass Point was selected as the winner of the 2023 Verdi L. Tripp Fiction Award and was published in the Joy of the Pen online journal.

In addition, my short story collection, Trespass Point and Other Stories, was selected as a finalist for the 2023 Maine Chapbook Series.
